Project overview
Phenotype was responsible for branding, design and bringing together the team who have build front and back end from scratch, and then seeing the project through to completion.
The SMS / MMS and backend solution that grabs videos from phones and then converts them to flash video is still unbeatable.
YourPhoneMovies and its sister site YourPhonePhotography were the first of their kind. They are viral sites with content being uploaded solely via mobile phones. Prizes were given away each month to the best entries.
A series of posters set up in student halls implored kids to get texting - and win £500!
