Project overview
RockNess is a summer music festival on the banks of Loch Ness. We created their new site to sit snugly amongst their offline and social media presence. The site has a cycling background, with the sky morphing through phases of sunset and sunrise, plus moving graphics. Pushing the boundaries of web 2.0 technology, a wonderful design piece, but most of all fun.
With an open source content-managed backend, the RockNess team manage and update the entire site themselves. The gallery sections will be very important during the weekend of the festival and these have now been brought into the fold of the website.
Being a music festival, the community aspects of the site are also really important so we created a similar skin for their MySpace page, but that’s another story.
